This DOP Asiago Fresco is soft, sweet, lightly tangy, and buttery, with a springy texture interior. The DOP guarantees that the milk of the cheese and production are in a certain location in Italy. It is often grated in salads, soups, pasta, sauces, or sliced to prepare paninis. It's also a good melting cheese on top of pizzas, casseroles, pasta, or bread.
